CLARITY FEATHER CARD

I've made this card using a Clarity Feather Stamp which is so beautiful and elegant.  I just hope the card looks as elegant.  The background was stamped in a blue green ink then a Perfect Medium Ink applied to the stamp and then heat embossed using black embossing powder.  I was really happy with the end result, although if i was to do it again i would try to match the stamp on the label to the stamp in the background, so that it looked like a continuation of the stamp. Still I like it and it was really quick and simple to do.  One of the quickest cards I've made in a long time.

BIRTHDAY CARD FOR GRANDAD

Well it was my dads birthday and my son wanted me to make him a card.  He lives out in Spain but He always loved Lighthouses and Ive had this stamp a while now and i love painting so I just thought I'd paint the stamp first then just add the card around the finished picture.  I think it came out just right. Stamping, Painting, Scrap Booking are all things i love and at the moment i'm making a scrapbook for my dearest friend of how we met and the years ever after.  It's an ongoing project so when it's finished I'll add some of the pages on here.  Until then here's the Grandad Card to view.

THE SILVER ANNIVERSARY FRAME

I also had to make a very special Silver Wedding Anniversary gift for two of my very best friends in the World.  I have known them both for 27years and I really wanted to make them something special.  So i thought I'd make a frame with photo memories.  Kind of like a framed scrapbook page really. Anyway I was really pleased with the end result and i had so much fun making it.  I was actually quite nervous of giving it to them just in case they thought it too soppy but they didn't and they loved it.

CHRISTMAS CARDS

Well over the Christmas period I had quite a few health problems so i wasn't able to make as many Christmas Cards as i would've liked to.  But here are the ones i did do and are proud to show off on my new Craft Blog.

The following two pictures are of my favourite card i made this year.  I made it with so much wonderful card stock and i was very proud of the way it came out.

EVERYTHING CRAFTY I DO IN MY LIFE.

Well I've decided that instead of one blog which was a bit of a mix of things that to get ready for the New Year and a new start and all that, that i would not only sort out my life, but my blog too.  I'm going to keep a crafty blog, and a journal blog with photos of projects on the crafty blog and photos of or in my life on my journal blog.  I just hope I'm doing the right thing and that i can keep up with having two blogs. Best foot forward as they say.
